The 25th annual meeting of the Crane Technical Committee of the International Organization for Standardization was held in Changsha, Hunan on September 9th.
It is understood that the meeting lasted for 6 days, and more than 80 representatives from 11 countries including China, France, Germany and the United States attended the meeting. This annual meeting is held in China for the first time, reflecting the full recognition and trust of the committee and international counterparts in China, and will effectively enhance China's voice in the international crane industry.The International Organization for Standardization Crane Technical Committee was established in 1960, its main task is responsible for lifting machinery including mobile cranes, tower cranes, boom cranes, bridge and gantry cranes, such as the design, terminology, wire rope, test methods, use, operation and maintenance of relevant international standards revision work, under the nine sub-technical committees. To date, 104 international standards, including standards and technical reports, have been developed and published.
